Senior Software Developer (Java/Angular fullstack) for Defence product

About the position

The position is located at our office in Bucharest and is a part of Systematic Defence Business Unit. You will join a team of 7 skilled colleagues located both in Romania and Denmark. This team builds one of our Defence produtcs, MobileX, the app that is used by soldiers in their exercises. It helps bring the strategy decided in the higher-level command centers to the battle field soldiers. MobileX can be found on tablets, cars, android devices and it is widely used in the NATO army.

Responsibilities and tasks

As a Software Developer, you will work closely with your agile full-stack scrum team to break down, specify, provide estimates for, and develop the Mobile X product.

Your daily tasks will involve:

• Troubleshoot, optimize and solve complex problems in an existing codebase
• Design and implement new features together with our Domain Experts and User Experience engineers
• Ensure the quality of the solution by reviewing and inspecting the design and code made by your developer colleagues

What should you bring 

• You hold a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical university
• You have at least 5 years of experience in a similar position
• You have experience working with  Java and/or Angular, TypeScript
• You have experience in develeopment 
• As a person you have an open mindset, come with initiatives and you are a strong team player
• You are fluent in English and thrive in an international working environment.

Practical information

• Hybrid setup: office and remote work.
• Travel might be expected to our Headquarters in Aarhus, Denmark.
• We work with security classified projects, therefore, as a Systematic employee, you must have a clean criminal record and have lived in a NATO/EU country for the past seven years.
