Here is a unique chance to be part of a completely new established team delivering critical software solutions for our Defence costumer in Vienna. As a project manager you will both have the opportunity to utilize your passion and drive for delivering critical projects within time and scope together with developing the teams’ competences and ensuring the well-being in the team.

In this role you will be part of a small team consisting of different technical roles. We expect the team to grow over time as the project grows. You will report directly to the Program Manager for Defence Services Central Europe based in Cologne, Germany and therefore have a close collaboration with our teams across Central Europe. 

 

Be a key player delivering critical software product to the costumer
As a project manager, you will take an important role and be a key player in delivering our SitaWare Suite to our Defence customers mainly in Austria, but also Support tasks in projects within Central Europe. You will be a vital part of implementing the SitaWare Suite throughout the Austrian Armed Forced using an agile methodology. Also, you will have general administrative tasks as a people manager and contribute as sales support in expanding our offerings across Central Europe.

 

Your key tasks:

  • drive agile project management including people management for the local team
  • coordinate activities between the service delivery team, the customer and our headquarter in Denmark
  • manage projects through KPIs, management briefings, business committee meetings etc
  • collaborate with the Account Manager in sales activities, such as sales meetings, proposal writings, and ensuring technical support and material for workshops
  • combine your customer and business understanding with your technical insights

 

You should expect approx. 10-20 days of travelling to our headquarter in Denmark or Germany a year. 

 

Experienced project manager with domain knowledge

  • a technical degree at Master’s level
  • 5+ years of experience as Project Manager in rollout and system integration projects
  • proven results running complex IT projects (FFP and T&M) in a busy working environment
  • leadership experience and know how to coach and motivate people 
  • experience with external customer contact
  • experience with budgets and numbers
  • having background in Defence (e.g., military veteran or having worked in the Defence domain previously) is beneficial.
