Innovation and Domain specialist for Offshore wind software solution

 

Do you have experience from a wide range of O&M activities in offshore wind farms and concluded that the industry needs an IT systems supplier that can take a fragmented landscape to a new level? Then Systematic has an opportunity where you can use your industry know-how to define and develop the software solutions for the most efficient offshore wind operations.

 

The Job
Systematic has emerged to become a leader in software solutions for marine coordination used at construction and O&M activities in offshore wind. The largest players in the industry use our SITE product. Our goal is to broaden the market reach into the offshore wind operational processes and to the control room and as our new Business Product Manager in Digital Transformation, you will be a key player in reaching that goal. You come with practical experience and translate that into vision, strategy and roadmap for the next generation of integrated software solutions, that can help our customers to achieve their goals about operational efficiency. In addition you will work as the domain specialist that articulate the needs and requirements from the point of view of the market and users. Finally, you will work closely together with the development team to ensure the product meets the defined requirements. You will refer to the director of the market unit.

 

Your key responsibilities include:

 

  • Define and manage the product vision, strategy and roadmap.
  • Define product requirements by know-how from the industry and by conducting market research supported by close interactions with sales executives, management, and on-going visits to existing and new customers.
  • Subject matter expert on processes and systems used to operate offshore wind farms.
  • Communicate product vision and strategy on operation, tactical and strategic levels.
  • Participate in writing tenders for our customers.
  • Collaboration with the product team, managed by our development management, to ensure the product strategies and roadmap are executed as envisioned.
  • Provide the sales team with the necessary product information, sales collateral and assistance at special customer visits.
  • Help the customers to use and take full benefit of our products.
  • Work with marketing to define product marketing key messages and thought leadership pieces.
  • Represent Systematic at conferences, trade shows and offshore renewable energy innovation centres such as the ORE Catapult.

A skilled individual with a goal-oriented mindset
We are looking for a self-motivated and highly energetic individual, with an ambition and professional commitment to lead the SITE product to further global market success. The ideal candidate has a minimum of 5+ years’ experience from working in the Offshore wind industry, and has worked in different roles such as Authorised Engineer, Control Room Engineer and Operations Manager, and have know-how about processes related to condition monitoring, maintenance management, control room, safe systems of work, marine coordination and performance reporting.

 

Furthermore, you can comply with the following:

  • Understanding business processes and the IT support for these
  • Able to use abstract thinking to understand the bigger picture and arrive at specific solutions
  • Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
  • Quick learner, organized and self-motivated with the ability to define goals and prioritize your own work
