Software Test Engineer for new product extensions team in Copenhagen

Be our Software Test Engineer in our new development team in Copenhagen and have a significant impact on the quality of the software we produce! In this role, your competencies are vital to the success we have.

Product Extensions
Our customer base continues to expand, which is leading to a growing demand to integrate our products into customers’ equipment and infrastructure, as well as extending the products with customer-specific functionality. In addition to continuously growing the two existing teams in Aarhus, Denmark, and Warsaw, Poland, we are establishing a new software development team in Copenhagen, Denmark. The new team will, like the other two, be part of our Defence Services organisation and operate in an international environment with customers around the world. Working out of our office in Copenhagen alongside the current Defence Services organisation, the team will be responsible for developing reusable extensions to the SitaWare and IRIS product suites using the APIs exposed by the products.

Be a vital part of the test process
As a Software Test Engineer, your focus will be to ensure the continuous high quality of the tests we conduct throughout the complete feature process from start to end. Our Test Engineers are a crucial part of the quality of the products we deliver to the customers, and you will be the main driver for that success.

Your tasks will involve:

  • Create and maintain all kinds of aspects of test documentation such as test considerations, test cases, risk analysis, defect reporting
  • Be a vital part of the development process, ensuring quality in our extensions.
  • Ask all the critical questions and collaborate closely with all stakeholders, such as Developers, Project Managers, Product Owners and Architects, to ensure all issues and problems are covered
  • Participate in all test activities such as integration tests, system tests, field tests, bug hunts, etc.

There will be some travel activity to Systematic's headquarters in Aarhus and occasional travel to our international offices

A tester with an eye for details
As a person, you are analytical and structured. There are no details you miss out on, and you enjoy working in processes and structures. You thrive in a working environment where changes occur and focus changes. You work independently but still like sparring with your team colleagues on technical topics.

You also…

  • Have a technical degree in computer science, software or computer technology, or similar
  • Have some years of experience in a similar role
  • Have experience with or knowledge of Jira Xray or similar tool
  • Are fluent in English, both written and verbally

Please note that you must be able to present a clean criminal record and have lived in a NATO/EU country for the past seven years as we work with security-classified projects. Read more here.
