CUBEDIN was established by OMT (Odense Maritime Technology) and Systematic in June 2022. The company aims to develop and sell/promote CUBEDIN as a new and innovative concept modularisation with the aim to make navy and commercial vessels flexible and adaptable through physical interface of modules and the vessel.
CUBEDIN currently consists of the CEO, a Product Manager, two developers and a Software Architect, located in our office close to Vesterport, Copenhagen. Together they are responsible for developing our new products for the maritime defence market – and we are now looking for our next colleague to come onboard!

As our new Technical Project Manager, your responsibilities would look like the following:
• Project Planning and Management: Develop detailed project plans, including scope, objectives, timelines, and resource allocation. Monitor and track large project progress, ensuring milestones are met.
• Team motivation: Ensure project manager, motivate a team of developers, engineers, and other stakeholders in order to deliver.
• Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders. Provide regular updates on project status, risks, and issues. Facilitate effective communication between technical and non-technical team members.
• Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies. Proactively address issues to minimize impact on project timelines and deliverables.
• Technical Expertise: Utilize your technical knowledge to guide project decisions and troubleshoot issues.
Technical Tasks:
• System Architecture: Collaborate with architects and engineers to design scalable and efficient system architectures. Ensure alignment with business requirements and technical standards.
• Integration Management: define the integration of various ship systems and components and ensure seamless interoperability and data flow between different systems.
• Technical Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including system designs, architecture diagrams, and user manuals.
A Technical Project Manager with experience from ship systems
Our ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in the area of ship systems, excellent project management skills, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams to deliver complex projects on time and within budget.
You have a technical background e.g. a bachelor- or master’s degree in automation, electrical or systems engineering or a related field.
Furthermore, you can recognize yourself in the following:
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, with a focus on complex technical projects
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies e.g. Agile, Scrum, Waterfall
• Proficiency in project management tools (e.g. JIRA, MS Project, Trello)
• Certifications in e.g. PMP, PRINCE2, or similar project management certification is highly desirable
• Experience in system integration projects, IT infrastructure projects and ship systems integration projects is preferred
• Technical proficiency in relevant technologies and platforms
• Have experience working with scrum
• Comfortable communicating in English, both oral and written
• Coming from a background within the navy would be beneficial but is not a requirement
As a person, you are able to ensure that people will follow you in order to achieve results and achieving so through your excellent communication and people skills. You are skilled at solving the problems at hand and see the results but at the same time regard teamwork as a way to achieve these results. Last but not least, you are interested in joining a small agile scale-up company with growth ambitions.
We work with security-classified projects and as a CUBEDIN employee, you must have a clean criminal record and have lived in a NATO/EU country for the past seven years in order to obtain a security clearance. Read more here
