Software Test Engineer

Be a vital part of the test process 
As our new Test Engineer, we expect you to take the driver's seat in quality assurance, run new initiatives and ensure that quality is part of our development from the first line of code., you will work with designing test cases and creating test considerations with focus on risk assessment. You will decide how features should be tested and work closely together with your colleagues on creating automated tests where needed. 


Working in an agile scrum-team, you will make a difference by:

  • Ensuring early test involvement in the development phase, asking all the crucial questions and collaborating closely with all stakeholders.
  • Participating in all test activities such as integration tests, system tests, field tests, bug hunts, etc.
  • Creating and maintaining test documentation like test considerations, test cases, risk analysis and defect reporting.
  • Taking part in developing and building your own test environments. 
  • Be responsible for reviewing and ensuring test quality of autotests.
  • Actively take part in refining our autotest-strategy.

 
There will be some travel activity to Systematic's headquarters in Aarhus and occasional travel to our international offices.

 

A self-driven Software Test Engineer 
We are looking for someone who can recognize themself in the following:

  • Technical degree in computer science, software engineering, computer technology, or the alike
  • Prior experience as a Test Engineer or similar, relevant experience for some years 
  • Experience with automation testing
  • Experience with tools like JIRA, Xray for JIRA or R4J, and technologies like Linux, CLI, Docker and Kubernetes, could be beneficial 
  • Experience from the Defence sector could be a benefit but is not mandatory

It is essential that you speak and write English with a professional proficiency and thrive in an international working environment.
