The position
Being our new colleague, you will help ensuring the continuous high level of test and quality assurance throughout our entire feature development process, emphasizing early test involvement. In addition to that, you will make a difference by…
- Being a vital part of the development process by asking all the critical questions, understanding the assignment, ensuring close cooperation with all stakeholders like developers, product owners, designers, and project managers.
- Creating and executing tests, ensure new features have a testable design, create test documentation, ensure verification of training content and software installations.
- Ensuring the quality assurance and quality control processes and standards are followed in the most efficient way to create qualitative software.
- Participating in all test activities like System Test, Bug Hunt and Field test etc.
If you are not sure what all of the above is yet, experienced colleagues will ensure to teach you and support you on your path to specialise in software testing.
A new team in Copenhagen
Located in our brand-new office space in the city center of Copenhagen, a short walk from the metro at Marmorkirken, you will become a part of a larger group of 50 Engineers, Architects and Testers - all working to ensure that our AI platform is the best of its kind in relation to data collection- and management.
You will become a part of our on-the-way-to-be established Insights team in Copenhagen. Our aim is to establish a scrum team of around eight skilled colleagues – where you will be one. Besides the Insight development team, you will become a part of the overall Test Team in our Defence business unit, which consists of 46 Testers, Test Managers, Test Interns and student workers across multiple locations.
SitaWare Insight is a modern microservice-based solution made up of primarily Angular and Java Spring Boot services. A variety of cloud-native components are used for supporting the environment, as it must be deployable to on-prem, private and public clouds.
Your qualifications
Looking for a new colleague, we are hoping to find someone who holds a Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or something similar. Furthermore, we are looking for someone who knows about or have tried hands with software testing, maybe through their studies or with a few years of experience in a similar role. If you have a background within Defence, that would be an advantage but it is not a requirement.
At SitaWare Insight, you can expect to work with the following technologies and tools, so experience herein is beneficial:
- Machine Learning / AI
- Linux CLI
- Docker and Kubernetes
- Cypress
- JIRA, Xray and R4J
In this role, you might experience a small amount of travel. Expect a maximum of 5-10 days a year.
