Software Test Engineer - new scrum team in Copenhagen
Systematic is thrilled to announce the establishment of a new Software Development Team in the heart of Copenhagen – and we are looking for multiple Developers, a Tester, a Project Manager, and a Software Architect to join us and support the growth in our customer base and scale our product line.
Our new Test Engineer will influence the initial feature descriptions with input and test considerations and collaborate with developers, domain experts and other stakeholders throughout the entire development process. Your core responsibility as a Test Engineer will be to ensure the right level of quality assurance to deliver high-quality products in close cooperation with your team. Joining Systematic Defence means being part of our ambition to help military personnel around the world make the right decisions and save lives with exceptional products.
What you will work with
You will create test designs and test cases to ensure early discussions regarding quality and feature development. With a focus on risk assessment, you will evaluate how features need to be tested and advise your colleagues on creating automated tests where needed. You will take part in developing the next generation of our SitaWare Headquarters product. Working in an agile scrum team you will make a difference by:
- Ensuring early test involvement in development, working in close collaboration with your colleagues
- Participating in various test activities incl., system tests, field tests and bug hunts
- Taking part in developing and maintaining test environments
You will be part of a new team where all members seek early engagement and impact on the solution. They strive to ensure quality and keep improving, for example, by automating repeatable tasks. The team delivers with pride - and has fun while doing so.
Our new colleague
Will benefit from having a bachelor's or master's degree in a technical field and 2-3 years of experience working with software testing on complex products. As an individual, you possess qualities such as being detail-oriented, structured, and analytical and thrive in a role where quality is key. We work with Linux, JIRA, XRay & R4J, which you will also work with in this role. We imagine you:
- Take responsibility for your work and are proactive and self-driven in your approach
- Have a genuine interest in test automation and may even have some experience in the field
- Want to work with PlayWright and Cypress
- Have great communication skills
- Thrive in an international working environment and are fluent in English
