Kubernetes Infrastructure Specialist – Secure Denmark’s Most Critical Systems

The Job
You will be responsible for the robustness, observability, and security of the Synergy application platform, which underpins national security and critical infrastructure domains. Your work will span traditional data centres and modern cloud platforms, often in collaboration with Product teams, security teams and onsite at customer locations. 
In short, you can look forward to:
•    Designing, deploying, and maintaining Kubernetes clusters across on-premises and cloud environments
•    Implementing infrastructure as code using Helm and Terraform
•    Applying Istio for secure and observable service communication
•    Configuring CSI for storage and CNI for networking
•    Collaborating with security teams to ensure compliance with national classifications and profiles


Joining the Team
You will join the Synergy Platform team, part of our National Security, (critical) Infrastructure products business unit. We develop and maintain a military-grade, cloud-agnostic platform that supports Denmark’s most critical systems. The team is highly collaborative, organized around cloud-native technologies and infrastructure-as-code principles. Both our developers and architects work closely with security experts to protect national interests.


Your Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you should bring:


•    Relevant technical education – Bachelor or Master, in IT/Computer Science or equivalent experience
•    Kubernetes certifications (CKA, CKAD, CKS)
•    Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience with Kubernetes in both on-premises and cloud environments
•    Strong knowledge of Kubernetes, Istio, Helm, Terraform, CSI, CNI, and OpenTelemetry
•    Fluent Danish and English communication skills
•    A strong security mindset and ability to work in high-stakes environments
•    Some experience from a developer role or similar, understanding the software principles.

•    Outgoing, thriving working within the client’s organization and values creating customer impact through knowledge sharing, training and education.


We expect travel time between our offices, and the majority of the work will take place at customer sites in primarily Greater Copenhagen.
