You will join our Defence Services organisation and report to the Senior Project Manager for Defence Services, Nordic. You will be based at our centrally located office in Copenhagen, Denmark, and collaborate with our service project teams based in Copenhagen and Aarhus and in the other Nordic countries.
Customer-facing and technical leadership role
The IT Architect will take a leading role and shape both architecture and design, ensuring the successful delivery of our SitaWare and IRIS suites for our Defence customers across the Nordic constellation. Your role will involve close collaboration with customers and product development teams across Systematic, translating customer requirements into innovative software solutions.
In short you will:
• be responsible for the technical aspects of projects, from delivery and implementation of our software products into our customers’ organisations
• play an active role in delivering both pre-sales support to a variety of customers and stakeholders
• participate in writing the technical part of proposals and estimating the technical solutions
• collaborate and coordinate international stakeholders, including customers, subcontractors, consultants and cross-functional teams within Systematic.
You should expect some travel as you will visit our head office in Aarhus as well as occasionally participating in customer visits in different parts of world.
Customer-centric mindset and broad IT technical expertise
Our new colleague brings strong and broad IT technical skills combined with several years of experience from a similar role together with a relevant technical degree at Bachelor’s or Master’s level.
To succeed in this role, you will need to draw on your technical leadership and communication skills, enabling you to motivate, guide and influence your stakeholders both inside and outside the organisation.
Ideally, you:
• are experienced at customer-facing activities, and your ability to instil trust with customers ensures high levels of customer satisfaction
• are a strong and collaborative communicator both in Danish and English
• enjoy working in an agile and changing environment, and Scrum experience would be a plus
• have experience within one or more of the following areas: tactical communications systems, software development, IT infrastructure, software and system testing and/or test management (e.g. ISTQB), technical training and external customer-facing projects.
