Systematic Defence has an overall goal, to help military personnel around the world make the right decisions and save lives through exceptional products such as our next generation of the SitaWare Headquarters product.

Develop solutions to support critical decision making - when it really matters 

As an experienced developer in our team, you will have the responsibility for developing and delivering end to end features, as part of building our next generation of the SitaWare Headquarters product. Specifically, you will be contributing to our Sitaware suite, with which we support the decision making across the entire battlespace. 

 

The team is, amongst other, responsible for improving general security concepts across the product using OAuth 2.0 and OIDC and for the concepts of deploying the product in Kubernetes clusters. Working in an agile scrum-team you will make a difference by:  

  • Implementing new functionalities that make a real difference to our users 
  • Troubleshooting, optimising, and solving complex challenges 
  • Ensuring code quality and continuous improvement of the existing codebase 

 

Skilled Developer with the ability to share your knowledge 

We are looking for an experienced developer, who can recognize themself in the follow:  

  • BSc or MSc degree 
  • + 3 years of experience with software development, including: 
  • Experience with Java 
  • Knowledge about Kubernetes deployment 
  • Interest in working with Microservices and Micro Frontends 

 

We are looking for someone who are able to- and interested in sharing their knowledge in order to develop and grow together with the team, while being the one who takes pride in delivering quality SW. You are able to quickly build connections across a new team as well as ensuring, that the team move forward, both professional and personally.

 

Please note that you must be able to present a clean criminal record and have lived in a NATO/EU country for the past seven years as we work with security-classified projects. Read more here.
