Business Development Manager

Lead sales and foster growth
This is your opportunity to lead sales and business development activities and drive digital transformation in the Danish manufacturing market while expanding internationally. As Business Development Manager in Digital Transformation at Systematic, you will be responsible for developing our customer relationships within the manufacturing domain. We need you for your market knowledge and to take the lead in the entire sales funnel; from lead-generation efforts, building a robust sales pipeline and executing on our customer journey strategy to fostering growth and long-term partnerships with each customer.
Your day-to-day work will include:
• building customer relationships from scratch using your network and actively pursuing new leads
• proactively engaging in sales efforts, including cold calls and following up on digital marketing leads
• tracking and sharing customer trends, insights and purchase signals with the team
Join a collaborative and expert sales team
As part of the Sales and Business Development team, you will work alongside our other Business Development Managers, who each specialise in their respective domains, as well as our experienced senior advisors with extensive domain knowledge and tech insight. The advisors will support you with pre-sales activities, such as clarification workshops, and provide valuable insights to help drive sales success. You will collaborate closely with the delivery teams to deliver tailored solutions and build strong, lasting customer relationships.
What we are looking for
To succeed in this role, experience with selling value-based projects combined with experience in digital transformation and Industry 5.0 within the private sector is key. While a strong sales background is essential, we value a proactive sales attitude.
In addition, we are looking for:
• a strong understanding of new technologies and digital transformation, with the ability to understand business cases in digital projects
• while IT expertise is not required, insight into technologies and how they apply to business needs is important
• a desire to grow, learn and embrace new challenges in a dynamic sales environment
