The job: Driving data insights and collaboration
As a Data Scientist, you will take ownership of the full analytics life cycle – from initial analysis and problem-scoping to delivering actionable results. You will work closely with customers and product development teams to define analytical goals, manage the execution of data-driven projects and ensure alignment with stakeholders at every stage. You will also collaborate with a team of skilled Architects, Engineers and Test Managers, sharing your expertise to support their growth and contribute to the team’s overall success.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Data acquisition & integration:
o Source and ingest data from diverse external systems and sources
o Ensure reliable and timely data flow for analytics and insights
Data processing & transformation:
o Design and manage analytical data pipelines using low-code/no-code tools
o Transform raw data for meaningful analysis and visualisation
AI/ML integration:
o Embed AI/ML models to classify, predict or extract insights from complex data
o Enhance workflows with intelligent analytics capabilities
Reporting & visualisation:
o Structure and index data for searchability and reporting
o Collaborate with BI teams on dashboard and report development
Some travel within mainly the Nordic region should be expected.
The team: Join our innovative Defence Services data science team in Copenhagen
You will be part of a newly established, forward-thinking team within the Defence Services organisation, reporting to your Program Manager in the Nordic constellation. Based in our centrally located Copenhagen office, you will collaborate closely with colleagues and customers across the Nordics and around the world, contributing to projects that make a real impact.
You bring: Proven data expertise and customer-facing experience
To succeed in this role, you combine analytical precision with creative problem-solving, turning complex datasets into clear, actionable insights that guide decision-making across the Defence Services organisation. Your expertise not only strengthens technical capabilities but also builds bridges between engineering, business intelligence and product development teams. By driving innovation in AI and machine learning, you help deliver solutions that matter – grounded in pragmatism, clarity and a strong sense of responsibility to the communities we serve.
We’re looking for someone with:
• a Master’s degree in data science, mathematics, statistics or a related field
• at least 5 years of experience in software development projects or customer implementations
• hands-on experience working directly with customers and a genuine interest in customer-facing projects, ideally with international experience
• fluency in English and fluency in Danish is a clear advantage
