As a Senior Business Development Manager at Systematic, you will drive new business with NATO agencies, lead complex IT sales, and position Systematic as a trusted provider of command and control solutions in Central Europe – from first contact to contract.

You’ll start in a modern and flexible Regus office in The Hague, providing a professional and accessible work environment from day one – with the opportunity to shape our future office and culture as the team grows.
Support the digital transformation of our customers in the defence sector.
Your key responsabilities will be:
- Exploring new business opportunities within NATO agencies and relevant associated organizations.
- Sales of complex software products and associated services as a complete solution with responsibility for incoming orders for assigned customers within Central Europe.
- Coordination of internal and external stakeholders in campaigns and systematic positioning of Systematic as a relevant software vendor.
- Preparation of offers, management of bid-teams and negotiation of contracts.
- Presentation of products and solutions at events with customers, industry and participation in relevant conferences and trade fairs.
- Development and maintenance of account plans as part of the sales strategy for Central Europe.
- Contributing to product development by providing and processing customer and market information for the relevant departments.
- Maintaining and expanding the customer database and reporting ongoing activities to the Vice President Business Development.
What we are looking for:
- Successfully completed studies, ideally with a focus on economics or engineering.
- Military background or profound knowledge of military processes with operational experience in a NATO nation.
- At least 10 years of experience in business development or sales in the defence-IT industry in a NATO context.
- Experience in the field of command and control information systems.
- Established and proven customer and partner network and high customer orientation.
- Results-orientated way of working, strategic thinking and technical affinity.
- Strong communication and presentation skills and ability to work in a team.
- Business fluent in written and spoken English.
- High degree of willingness to travel.
