

Test Manager
- This is a key technical role within our Operations Team.
- You will join a leading international IT solution company that genuinely cares and values its people.
- The position is full-time – Canberra-based.
We are seeking a Test Manager to join our Canberra team to ensure the integrity of solutions under development. Reporting to our Project Manager, you will be responsible for application testing and evaluation (AT&E) and Validation and Verification (V&V), fault finding, audit reviews, engineering compliance and reporting.
Your key Responsibilities
- Defining test strategies and test plans, and managing test activities across different streams of delivery.
- Generating test reports and metrics to communicate the testing progress, results, and quality of the software to stakeholders.
- Collaborating internally providing feedback and actionable recommendations from internal and external testing.
- Preparing reports on the status of verification activities.
- Ensuring alignment of testing with software release goals.
- Undertaking system testing as required to assist the testing team.
- Supporting pre-sales work, including effort estimating and proposal writing.
- Developing and maintaining detailed documentation for systems and processes.
- Ensuring adherence to stringent security frameworks, standards and policies.
The skills and experience we are looking for
We prefer if you bring minimum diploma-level qualifications with a degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or similar, and preferably have 4+ years hands-on test management experience across the entire testing lifecycle. Furthermore, you need to have a strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and tools, and experience in creating and executing test strategies, test plans and test cases too. Experience with Agile methodology, Scrum, is too required.
So the colleague we are looking for is someone with high attention to detail, a strong analytical and problem-solving skillset and excellent communication and collaborative skills.
