We are seeking a Senior Solution Engineer to join our Canberra team to work with our Sales team on business development activities, and our Operations team on delivery to our customer and support partners.

 

About the role
Reporting to our Program Manager, you will participate in selling and implementing digitalisation projects that deploy Command and Control software solutions in close collaboration with customers and support partners. 


Key tasks include:

  • Support pre-sales work in technical design and specifications, integration plans, proposal and bid development.
  • Lead the integration and configuration of our software products into training and operational system environments.
  • Responsible for engineering and technical activities for customers, including but not limited to configuration management, incident management, audits and reporting.
  • Participate in customer meetings to align strategies and determine business and technical requirements that will be used in developing solutions using C41 software products.
  • Advise customers and support partners on best practice to deploy and use C4I software products to meet their needs.
  • Work closely with the Senior Architect and other engineers to ensure Army’s C4I architecture is aligned with the SitaWare product suite.
  • Lead and contribute to technical workshops and training sessions for our project teams to deliver to customers, partners and internal staff.
  • Travel may be expected – approximately 5 days a year of domestic travel and a visit to our Headquarters in Aarhus, Denmark as part of your onboarding.

 

 About you

  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or other relevant discipline. Master’s highly regarded.
  • Strong technical presentation and communication skills enabling you to provide clear communication to customers and stakeholders on complex technical matters.
  • Knowledge in the areas of administration and operation of military command information systems, tactical radio devices and radio networks and ITIL.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage and build trust with a range of stakeholders.
  • Willingness to take a lead role in the delivery of bids from a solution design and technical POV.
  • Proactive and able to think strategically.
  • Experience in software development technologies e.g. Java, C#, JavaScript, and in installing and managing Microsoft Windows Server technologies e.g. AD, SQL. Server.
  • High attention to detail.
