Test engineer for Columna CURA project

Bucharest, Romania.

About the position

The position is located at our office in Bucharest and is a part of Systematic businesses within Healthcare BU. You will join a growing team with approximately 12-14 skilled colleagues distributed in 8-10 Developers, 2 Testers, a Scrum Master and a Product Owner based in Denmark, Romania, and Ukraine Our processes are built around Scrum and Safe and are continuously working on improving and optimizing the way we organize and work in the project.

At Columna Cura, we are divided into 4 full-stack development scrum teams: 2 teams are located across Denmark (Aarhus) and Ukraine (Lviv), and 2 other teams are located across Denmark (Aarhus) and Rumania (Bucharest). Each team has competencies to cover developing the direct user side of the solution, as well as the integration and backend side. For the ones mainly dealing with the frontend side of the solution, the focus is very much on understanding the healthcare area, which often involves much closer contact with the end-users.

Columna Cura is our latest product within healthcare IT. It is a citizen record application – the web and app solution of the future – for the field of healthcare and social care – and supports employees, citizens, and relatives, throughout a citizen’s complete health journey. Currently, it is operational and has already been purchased by more than 30 Danish municipalities.

As a tester, you will be a part of a development team using Scrum for daily work. You will work with early test during feature development and in close corporation with the Team. In the beginning, you will have close cooperation with a Mentor to guide and counsel you regarding how to do testing in Systematic.

The product is one of the most advanced EHR systems on the market and is being developed as a web (Java) and app solution (Android and iOS). The product has been around for more than 3 years and it is currently being used by more than 30 municipalities and serving more than 2½m+ citizens. Columna Cura means Denmark’s healthcare workers can spend more time on care and prevention and less time on documentation. By having relevant information within reach, we ensure that users can benefit from a more efficient decision-making process. Columna Cura is constantly being expanded and developed. We are dealing with a critical system with many users, a lot of data, and high loads.
