About the position

 

Are you passionate about assisting customers, and do you have experience in migrations and software implementations? We are seeking a new technical implementation consultant to join our Implementation & Services team, which is focused on implementing our library solutions for our customers.

In the beginning of the employment, please expect to travel to Aarhus for approximately 1 week, to attend an onboarding course and be acquainted with the company, culture, project, and team. Apart from this, you can expect 10-30 days of travel a year. 

 

Your daily impact

 

The main responsibility of the Technical Implementation Consultant is to drive data conversions, data mappings and other tasks related to the technical setup of a new customer during the implementation process.  

 

You thrive to ensure high customer satisfaction and enjoy working closely with colleagues centered around customer implementations. 
 

 

In addition to that, some of your key tasks will be to:

 

  • Run data conversions and do data analysis and data mapping 

  • Conduct technical clarification meetings with customers 

  • Collaborate with many different stakeholders to make sure the implementation of Cicero is moving along according to the plan 

  • Continuously optimize the implementation processes to ensure efficiency and high customer satisfaction 

 

Are you the talent we've been searching for?

 

  • A bachelor's or master's degree within software, Computer Science or similar 

  • 3+ years of experience a similar role 

  • Knowledge about the library domain is a plus but not a necessity 

  • You are fluent in English and thrive in an international working environment.

 

Experience with:

 

  • Experience with common data formats like CSV, JSON and XML 

  • Basic understanding for databases and SQL, MariaDB, MySQL

  • Basic understanding of Rest APIs, Web services and capable of working with Linux and PowerShell 

  • Experience with library systems or operations and/or bibliographic formats and cataloguing like Marc21 and RDA is a plus

  • Experience with large scale software solutions implementation projects.

Practical information

  • Travel may be expected twice a year in our Headquarters in Aarhus, Denmark.
  • We work with security classified projects, therefore, as a Systematic employee, you must have a clean criminal record and have lived in a NATO/EU country for the past seven years. Additionally, it is a requirement to obtain a security clearance when working in our Defence Business Unit. Please read more here.
