Systems Engineer (Front-End Developer) for Healthcare product

Bucharest, Romania.

About the position

The position is located at our office in Bucharest and falls under Systematic’s Healthcare area. As a Systems Engineer, you will join a well-established programme with approx. 60 highly skilled colleagues, working in close collaboration to ensure high-quality products for Systematic’s customers.

At Columna Cura, we are divided into 4 full-stack development scrum teams. Each team has competences to cover developing the direct user side of the solution, as well as the integration and backend side. For the ones mainly dealing with the front-end side of the solution, the focus is very much on understanding the healthcare area, which often involves much closer contact with the end-users.

The team will typically consist of 8-10 Developers, 2 Testers, a Scrum Master, and a Product Owner.

Columna Cura is our latest product within healthcare IT. The product is one of the most advanced EHR systems on the market and is being developed as a web (Java) and app solution (Android and iOS). The product has been around for more than four years and is currently in use in more than 30 Danish municipalities. Columna Cura means Denmark’s healthcare workers can spend more time on care and prevention and less time on documentation. By having relevant information within reach, we ensure that users can benefit from a more efficient decision-making process. Columna Cura is constantly being expanded and developed. We are dealing with a critical system with many users, a lot of data, and high loads.
