Your Daily Impact as a Solution Architect
As a Solution Architect you will design technical solutions to meet customer needs, and oversee the implementation of these solutions by providing technical leadership and direction for Defence Services projects across several European countries.
In addition to that, some of your key tasks will be to:
- Interface directly with customers to build strong, productive relationships;
- Understand customer needs and requirements, and design/architect suitable technical solutions;
- Provide technical leadership and direction to engineers and others across a range of customer projects;
- Support business development teams with the successful pursuit of new opportunities, including supporting proposal development, effort estimating, and meeting prospective customers.
What should you bring:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant subject;
- 5+ years relevant experience in relevant roles in the IT industry;
- Experience working directly with external customers is essential;
- Some experience/knowledge of the military C2 domain – e.g. relevant military systems, networks, radios/comms bearers, etc.
- Experience/knowledge of software development e.g. Java, C#, JavaScript;
- Experience/knowledge of installing and managing Windows Server / Linux environments;
- Experience of cloud environments (e.g. Azure) and containerization technologies (Kubernetes, Docker, RKE);
- Willingness to travel;
- Excellent communication skills,
- Leadership skills;
- Ability to work well in teams or independently;
- Attention to detail;
- Strong problem-solver.

Practical information:
- Hybrid setup: office and remote work.
- Our team is based in Romania and Denmark, with collaboration and occasional travel between the two locations, so you should expect 2-4 weeks of travel per year.
