As our Senior Systems Test Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, performance, and quality of our systems as we scale internationally. You will design and implement comprehensive testing strategies across both project-specific solutions and core product functionalities, helping to deliver robust and high-performing software. As our products are developed through a mix of in-house engineering and open-source contributions, you will be actively involved in validating, shaping, and improving our solutions within this collaborative ecosystem.

Your daily tasks will involve:

• Feature Development and Early Test: You will be a crucial part of developing new features from requirements, through development and the final system test (FAT) before release of features to our customer.
• Planning the complete testing process: You will be working with planning the complete testing process for the team’s commitment and ensuring the understanding of process and plan for the entire team.
• Early test: Will be working with early test which implies tasks of early test design and strategy on how to test the features, risk assessments, test environment needs and understanding of the requirements.
• Conduct testing:   You will be working with performing system test of both major releases with test runs, as well as system test in for engineering drops.
• You will also be conducting test for new features and defect corrections according to the test strategy you have made for the features. We also execute automated testing as planned in the test strategy.
• Maintaining Testware and Processes: Build and maintain a regression test suite, testdata and test documentation management. Continously improve the test process.

Our new product Battlefield Health, part of the Healthcare Business Unit, combines proven healthcare and C4ISR solutions into a unified defence medical information system. Drawing on over 30 years of defence and healthcare expertise, Battlefield Health provides critical decision support for healthcare professionals, enhancing Continuum of Care, Patient Tracking, and Flow Management. 

Deployed Hospital (D-HOSP) is a military medical documentation and decision support system designed for austere and deployed healthcare environments. Integrated with SitaWare HQ, D-HOSP enables healthcare professionals to document patient care, coordinate medical evacuations, and maintain situational awareness across the full continuum of care.

What we are looking for:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in relevant technical university
• 5 years of experience in a similar role
• Healthcare and/or Defence knowledge would be a plus
• ISTQB / TMAP certification or similar would be important.
• Experience with technical test.    
• Nice to have: Experience with automated testing tools, basic SQL knowledge.
• Fluent English skills required, both spoken and written
