Your Daily Impact as a Project Manager 


As a Project Manager you will be responsible to manage a portfolio of Defence Services projects across several European countries, ensuring projects deliver to quality, cost and schedule commitments.


In addition to that, some of your key tasks will be to:

  • Interface directly with customers to build strong, productive relationships.
  • Line manager for a small multi-disciplinary team, and project manager for multiple virtual, geographically-distributed project teams.
  • Manage projects through the project lifecycle, including developing and executing effective project plans, conducting gate reviews, risk management, stakeholder management, etc.
  • Support business development teams with the successful pursuit of new opportunities, including supporting proposal development, effort estimating, and meeting prospective customers.

 

What should you bring:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant subject;
  • Project Management qualifications (PMP or similar);
  • 5+ years relevant experience in customer-facing project management roles in the IT industry;
  • Experience working directly with external customers is essential.
  • Experience in the defence sector is desirable;
  • Willingness to travel;
  • Independent work style;
  • Proactive and strong communicator; 
  • Strong people leadership skills.

Practical information: 

 

  • Hybrid setup: office and remote work
  • Our team is based in Romania and Denmark, with collaboration and occasional travel between the two locations, so you should expect 2-4 weeks of travel per year. 
  • Please note that you must be able to present a clean criminal record and have lived in a NATO/EU country for the past seven years as we work with security-classified projects. Read more here.
