Junior Software Developer for Site Reliability Engineering (SRE)

About the position

You will be part of a competent SRE team working on the basis of the DevOps culture. Together with the team, you will ensure reliable application operation in development teams across the premises.

Responsibilities and tasks

• Assisting with the operation, maintenance and optimisation of application solutions to ensure high levels of performance and resilience;
• Supporting development projects in the creation of deployable solutions and thus business value for our internal customers;

What should you bring in

• You are studying for Bachelor/ Master in Software Engineering/ Computer Science/ Computer Engineering or other similar technical programs, and you are passionate about applying and developing your technological skills – ideally you are in your last year of your studies
• You are good at cooperating, not afraid of challenges, and you make a positive contribution to team dynamics, willing to learn and help others
• You are ambitious, and you are keen to improve and develop to become an independent team player
• Communicate in English both verbally and in writing with colleagues within your team or even other stakeholders across the organization
• As a person, you are responsible and curious with the necessary drive, and you work systematically with constant attention to detail
• It is the quality of your work that drives you, and you take pride in understanding complex solutions and the challenges of the customer

We are looking for someone interested in working with a wide range of technological solutions and methods. However, it is NOT a requirement that you have experience with all the below-mentioned technologies or methods but, knowledge about one or more is helpful to you.

Practical information

• The internship will last 6 months, starting September 2023 and it will be a paid part/full-time position
