Internship: Junior Software Developer

About the position 

The position is located at our office in Bucharest and covers both Systematic’s Defence and Healthcare business units. As an intern, you’ll join one of our agile development teams, contributing to projects that make a real impact — from mission-critical Defence solutions to innovative Healthcare products improving patient outcomes. 

You’ll work side by side with experienced developers, taking responsibility for specific parts of the software development process while learning how to build scalable, secure, and meaningful applications. The specific technologies and projects you’ll work with depend on the team and business area you’ll join — but in all cases, you’ll be part of a collaborative environment where learning and growth come first.

• Is currently a student in a technical Bachelor program ( final years)

Technologies you might work with

You don’t need to know them all — but familiarity with one or more will definitely help: 

• Web-based and scalable server solutions using Java and web technologies (JavaScript, HTML5, SCSS, Angular, TypeScript, or Scala) 

• Standalone or distributed applications development 

• Service-oriented architectures and web service technologies (REST, SOAP) 

• SQL databases and data management (SQL Server, Oracle, Hibernate) 

• UML, design patterns, and agile methodologies like Scrum

Practical information 

• Duration: 6 months, starting April 2026 

• Type: Paid, part-time internship 

• The setup will combine both in-office and remote work. 

• Travel might be expected to our Headquarters in Aarhus, Denmark
