About the Position

Group IT (GRIT) is a business-critical function in GBS Systematic that support the company’s operational excellence, resilience, and long-term success. GRIT is responsible for meeting the business demands and delivering consistent, reliable IT services across the entire Systematic Group.

We are building a catalogue of automated service requests and we need the right person to make it happen. In this role, you will take ownership of self-service automation within our Service Desk — reducing manual work and improving how IT services are delivered across the organization. The job

As our Automation Specialist, you will lead the design, development, and maintenance of self-service automation through our ITSM system, Ivanti. Your first major deliverable will be automating license handling from the self-service portal — but that's just the start. You'll build and grow a catalogue of standard service requests, taking processes like mailbox creation, user provisioning, and access management from manual toil to fully automated workflows.

In short, you can look forward to:

• Building and maintaining self-service automation and workflows in Ivanti
• Automating license handling from the self-service portal as your first key deliverable
• Developing custom forms, API integrations, and PowerShell-based automation scripts
• Managing and provisioning users via Azure AD / Entra ID and Microsoft Graph API
• Collaborating with the Service Desk team to identify, prioritise, and deliver new automation initiatives.
  
  

Required Expertise:

• 3–5 years of hands-on experience with ITSM automation — Ivanti or a comparable platform such as ServiceNow
• Solid PowerShell skills, including functions, error handling, and API calls
• Practical experience with Azure AD / Entra ID for user provisioning and group management
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Graph API for M365 and Exchange Online automation
• Experience with REST API integration and a basic understanding of webhooks and event-driven automation
• Familiarity with ITIL processes, particularly request fulfilment and change management
• Version control experience using Git
• Professional proficiency in English
