A unique opportunity to influence Defence software solutions
You will be part of a team whose primary task is to ensure an outstanding user experience. This happens through the development and continual improvement of our state-of-the-art Geographic Information System (GIS), which delivers close to real-time data to our customers within the Defence domain. The GIS is an essential element within our entire portfolio of products in the SitaWare suite and is a crucial function for our customers. You will be developing the GIS engine so it continues to set the standard within the domain in collaboration with our product management team, and your world-class colleagues.
You create high-performance visualisation of real-time data
Working with your team, your overall responsibility will be defining, designing and developing new features. This includes the development of new or improved functionality on current as well as improving performance and scalability. You will work with WebGL to render high-performance 2D and 3D graphics, and work with Computer Graphics as a discipline. You can expect high professional development and considerable freedom in your workday and tasks, in a role that is like no other in the organisation. You will be responsible for:

  • Clarifying requirements, analysing and designing solutions that focus on new functionality
  • Designing, developing and implementing new features for the GIS
  • Troubleshooting, optimising and solving complex problems in an existing codebase
  • Collaborating with internal GIS-users in relation to integrations with our SitaWare products

A skilled developer with experience in graphical rendering
To succeed in this role, our new colleague holds a relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree and has some years of experience in software development. You have specialised in graphical rendering, and have worked with WebGL and OpenGL before.


You have experience working with Java and JavaScript, and you:  

  • Are passionate about software development and visualisation and value your expertise as a craft you want to continue developing. 
  • Want to work in a highly specialised team with outstanding development opportunities. 
  • Are fluent in English and have an international mindset regarding work.
