Training Specialist
Are you looking for a role where your expertise will directly empower defence customers to excel in their missions? Join Systematic and play a key role in shaping training solutions that have global impact.
Join Defence Service Products and shape the future of defence training
Defence Service Products was established just a couple of years ago, but we have already built a committed team of +20 professionals operating in both Aarhus and Bucharest.
You will join our Content Development team within our Service Products organisation in Aarhus. The team’s mission is to develop and maintain the Systematic Defence Standard Training Catalogue which supports our entire product suite.
The team designs and maintains all training for Systematic Defence, which is delivered through SitaWare Aspire e-Training, instructor-led sessions and interactive workshops. Our diverse and talented team includes video content creators, instructional designers and domain experts, who all work together to craft impactful learning experiences.
Our service product SitaWare Aspire is a digital training platform developed and designed to provide realistic, hands-on training for users of the SitaWare suite, a command-and-control (C2) software solution used in operative environments. This platform integrates the actual SitaWare application into the training environment, allowing users to engage in practical exercises with the same interface they would use in real operations.
Develop and deliver standardised training solutions, integrating military expertise with strategic goals
As a Training Specialist, you will play a key role in shaping a standardised and innovative approach to training within Systematic Defence. You will create role-based and collective training solutions for SitaWare users, customising them to align with their operational needs in C2 military workflows and providing users with a comprehensive understanding of how to use SitaWare in compliance with their standard operating procedures.
You will bridge the connection between the Product Manager’s vision and the Content Development team’s production, transforming military C2 procedures into powerful training products.
Furthermore, you will:
- analyse, design, develop, implement and evaluate (ADDIE) new training courses in collaboration with Systematic trainers across the organisation and the Content Development team
- develop Subject Training Plans (STP) for the Systematic Defence Standard Training Catalogue
- create generic training scenarios for self-paced and instructor-led training
- standardise training content to align with the Systematic standard training approach
- design and provide C2 guidance to Systematic trainers, content creators and instructional designers
- design simulation scenarios to enhance self-paced training and instructor-led training
- provide close support for Systematic’s military trainers in their preparation and delivery of training
- ensure global consistency in training across Systematic’s worldwide organisation.
You should expect some travelling abroad as part of the job, approximately 30–40 days a year.
Skilled military professional with expertise in training development and strong stakeholder management capabilities

It is essential that you have a strong background in staff work at battalion and brigade levels combined with solid knowledge of training methodologies in military training establishments.
To succeed in this role, you are able and keen to throw yourself into the details to ensure the training content is accurate, relevant and aligned with standards while actively engaging in the analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation processes.
Furthermore, we are looking for:
- a lieutenant colonel, major or captain ideally with a higher military education from Advanced Staff College
- a Training Specialist who actively participates and performs tasks while providing guidance and support and setting the direction
- proficiency in English.
Finally, our new Training Specialist brings strong stakeholder management skills, i.e. you communicate clearly and collaborate effectively with various stakeholders to align training initiatives with organisational goals.
