Traineeship: IT Supporter, Internal IT

About the position
The position is based at our office in Aarhus and is part of Systematic’s business area Global Business Services, ITM Service Desk. You will become part of a team of 7 colleagues working in Aarhus and Bucharest, Romania. As an IT Support Trainee in ITM Service Desk, you will work with a mix of experienced and less experienced support in our internal IT department that supports our internal users on a global scale, and the team works with ITIL best practices. 

You will join a team that is characterised by its wide-ranging skills within service operations and application support, and where you will engage with colleagues daily to ensure your continual development. In addition, you will have a broad interface across the organisation while supporting our internal Systematic users. As an IT Support Trainee, you will work on an equal footing with your colleagues, and from day one, you will be involved in solving the tasks that fill the working day. You can expect a traineeship with a steep learning curve, where you will acquire hands-on experience with many different assignments and where no two days are the same. 

Responsibilities and tasks

Your main responsibility will be providing first and second-level support internally in Systematic, covering all our users throughout Denmark and our international locations. 

Your working day will be varied and involve: 

• Receiving, registering and referring tickets in our ITSM tool. 
• Informing and communicating with internal and external users.     
• Ensuring high-quality standards and that we adhere to the described procedures.  
• Troubleshooting laptops, workstations, printers and AV equipment in our meeting rooms.
• Delivering great user experience and ensuring high business productivity  

Preferred skills

• You are quality-conscious and service-minded. 
• You are a team player, work systematically and can work independently. You are good at prioritising your tasks as required. 
• When interacting with our users, you are persistent at the same time as being patient and attentive. 
• You enjoy working in a dynamic environment with unpredictable tasks.

Minimum Qualifications

• You are in the process of training to become an IT supporter, and you are looking for a traineeship in connection with your studies. 
• IT is your passion, and you strive for great user experience while you enjoy assisting users and helping them be productive. 
• You are self-driven and show up for work on time. 
• You are fluent in Danish and English, both orally and in writing.
