Newly graduated Software Tester for healthcare projects

Kick-start your career as a Software Tester and help shape the quality of a vital healthcare solution used across Denmark. Join a supportive team where your curiosity and fresh ideas are valued, and receive guidance from a dedicated mentor as you grow your skills in a real-world agile environment.

Help shape quality from day one
Are you newly graduated and ready to kick-start your career in tech?

As a Software Tester, you will play an important role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our Columna CIS product throughout the development process. You will work closely with your development team and a wide range of stakeholders to make sure testing is an integrated and valued part of our workflows from the very outset.
You do not need to know everything from day one – we will support your learning and growth. In this role, you will become a quality advocate, helping us maintain high standards while continuously improving our testing practices.

Your key tasks will include:
•    creating test strategies and designing tests for new features based on requirements
•    executing tests on new functionality and reported defects
•    participating in system test phases alongside the team
•    documenting test results and supporting regression test coverage
•    analysing defects and contributing to improvements in our quality assurance processes

Join a skilled and supportive team
You will become part of a dedicated Scrum team working on Columna CIS – our electronic medical record (EMR) solution used in hospitals across Denmark. The system helps healthcare professionals manage clinical tasks such as medication, treatment notes and patient history, ensuring high-quality care and documentation.
Our team is distributed between Aarhus and Bucharest, and typically includes 8–10 Developers, 1–2 Testers, an Architect, a Domain Advisor and a Project Manager. You will collaborate closely with your team-mates and learn from experienced colleagues who are passionate about building reliable, user-friendly healthcare solutions.

To help you get off to a great start, you will be assigned a dedicated mentor who will guide you as you settle into your role, introduce you to the product and support you in your day-to-day tasks.

What you bring
We envisage that you are newly graduated with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Healthcare technology (Sundhedsteknologi) – and are ready to take your first step into a meaningful career within health IT.

To succeed in the role, you should recognise yourself in the following:
•    You are curious, ask critical questions, and are not afraid to speak up if quality is at risk.
•    You work in a structured and analytical way, and can break down complex problems into manageable tasks.
•    You are eager to learn, challenge how things are done, and suggest improvements to workflows or tools.
•    You are fluent in both Danish and English, written and spoken.

It is an advantage if you have some experience with:
•    working in agile teams or with scrum
•    SQL and tools such as TestRail, Jira and Postman
•    Java or Angular (not a requirement)
•    ISTQB Foundation certification (a plus, but not required)

Please note that you must be able to present a clean criminal record and have lived in a NATO and/or an EU country for the past seven years as we work with security-classified projects. Read more here.
