Technical Product Manager
We are looking for a Product Manager to drive the further development of a modern container platform based on open-source technologies used across projects throughout Systematic. This is an opportunity to influence a core solution, work closely with a skilled team and apply both your technical and strategic capabilities.
Set the direction and ensure continued value for our internal customers
As a Product Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring that our product and the services delivered by the team remain relevant and valuable to our internal customers. You will be responsible for setting the direction and act as a vital link between the development team, the Project Manager and the Product Owner. In this role, you will:
- prepare and lead product board meetings with key internal stakeholders – ensuring effective prioritisation and planning
- develop and maintain the product roadmap and take the lead in clarifying and estimating new features in close collaboration with the team
- define the framework for effective product support and maintenance
While this role does not include people management responsibilities, it requires strong collaboration skills and the ability to navigate in a cross-functional setting.
Join a dedicated and skilled platform team
You will join our Synergy project within our Digital Transformation business unit. The Synergy-team is responsible for developing and maintaining a modern container platform built on open-source, cloud-native technologies. This platform is a critical foundation used across multiple customer projects throughout various departments at Systematic, ensuring scalability, consistency and high performance. Our team consists of six developers – four based in Aarhus and two in Poland – along with a dedicated Test Manager and a Project Manager. This means you will be working closely with a highly collaborative team that values knowledge sharing, continuous improvement and being able to deliver high-quality, future-proof solutions.
What we are looking for
We envisage that you bring experience from a similar role – either as a Product Manager or a Software Architect ready to take the next step - with an understanding of modern infrastructure and cloud-native technologies. Ideally, you are familiar with tools such as Kubernetes, Istio, OpenSearch , Prometheus, Grafana, Jaeger and PostgreSQL – and have experience working with Java (preferably with Quarkus) or Golang. That said, we do not expect you to know everything from day one; most important is your curiosity, your ability to learn quickly and your desire to collaborate across teams.
Please note that you must be able to present a clean criminal record and have lived in a NATO and/or an EU country for the past seven years as we work with security-classified projects. Read more here.
