Systems Engineer for Pandemic control

A look into the role

 

In this role you will be working in our Innovation and Bespoke department in our business unit Healthcare. The team is working with various innovative projects and you will have the finger on the pulse and contribute to some of the most critical projects for our society.

Right now, we are working on three innovative projects and you will have the opportunity to be an important player for the project’s success.

Your main focus will be on our Pandemic Control application. The application went live at the end of February 2021 and has since been added new functionality in a fast pace. Pandemic Control is developed for the Danish Patient Safety in order to register Covid-19 infected and near contacts and to confine the spread of the decease.

The Innovation and Bespoke department is at the moment also working on a project together with Thisted municipality. The projects are experimenting with speech-recognition and AI technologies to optimize the use of our existing products.

Another project is an innovation project with Sydjurs municipality where we are developing a solution that optimize the way the municipality runs its home care to the elderly. The product makes it easier for the users to organize their work schedules and becomes more self-driven, so they have more time with the elderly.

You will become part of a team full of bright developers, a project manager, a product owner, an architect, and testers and together with this superstar team you will develop new functionalities and solutions to the application.

 

My daily tasks will involve:

 

  • Clarifying general features and requirements in close cooperation with the team
  • Specifying technical solutions based on requirements, specifications, cases, and user stories in cooperation with customers, architects, and product owners
  • Defining and estimating the scope of development tasks together with the team
  • Developing solutions and supporting the testing of specific solution elements

 

What we need…

 

  • You preferable have a Master education within Computer Science, Engineering or similar. But if you have a bachelor education don’t hesitate to apply.
  • You have at least 3-5 years of experience from a role similar to what we are looking for – preferable from the Healthcare domain, but it is not a requirement.
  • It is a must that you have experience with some parts of the tech stack. Maybe you see yourself as a full-stack developer and have a preference for back-end.
  • Java is not a stranger to you and maybe you have touched C#. You might also have heard about KeyCloak, Microsoft SQL Server, Docker, Ansible, Elasticsearch or any other technologies that will be beneficial to the team.
  • As we are an international company, we expect you to be comfortable with English. In this role, you will be working with a Danish customer whereas the daily language is Danish, and we thus expect you to speak and write fluent Danish.
