The job – proactive and energetic infrastructure engineer

 

The position is based at our office in Aarhus, and falls under Systematic’s IT management area. As a Systems Engineer with the IT operations team, you will be joining a well-established team of six highly skilled colleagues located in Aarhus who work closely together to ensure high-quality products for Systematic’s customers and colleagues.

Systematic IT management (ITM) is responsible for delivering secure IT services for the business – effectively and cost-efficiently. These services support our engineers who are engaged in delivering products and services to customers as well as in-house functions such as Finance, Legal and People and Culture. The team plays a crucial role in the delivering these services, in ensuring compliancy, in managing the service life cycle and in providing support to maintain service availability while continuously improving existing systems.

 

Your role on the team

 

As our new Systems Engineer, you will join our IT Infrastructure team as a key player providing business support. You will collaborate closely with colleagues in Bucharest and Aarhus, focusing on the continues improvement of Systematic’s IT services. As our new Systems Engineer you are a specialist within your area, and you will support the IT department and the business with designing, building and delivering IT systems.

 

You will play a key role in:

  • Event management
  • Providing third level support to operations and the business
  • Maintaining, operating and improving IT infrastructure systems
  • Improving IT security by implementing the required measures
  • Participating in projects and leading the handover of systems to Operations
     

And you wil be working with several technolgies, such as: Linux, VMware, Hyper-V, SQL Cluster, Microsoft Azure, AD / PKI / IDM and more!  

 

Your skills and experience

 

  • You have 3+ years of experience from a similar position.
  • You have a relevant educational background e.g. data technician, engineering, computer science or similar.
  • You have experience at working with IT infrastructure and IT processes.
  • You have experience with and/or knowledge of server environments.
  • You are fluent in English and thrive in an international working environment.
