Developer for Defence

About the position
We are looking for a new and dedicated Developer to join our growing Bespoke team in Aarhus. You might be a newly qualified graduate or have a several years of experience under your belt – what matters is that you are driven by wanting to make a difference for our customers. If so, you might be the person we’re looking for. You will become part of an international team that works on different projects around the world, all centred around our SitaWare product – especially the Mobile project. The program is enjoying considerable success and is rapidly growing, so we need your help to continue this journey.

As a Developer for Defence, you will contribute to innovative projects and developing solutions within the Defence domain. You will be working with a variety of projects that range in size and duration to ensure the development of customer-specific interfaces to meet customer needs. Depending on your preferences, you will be involved in various tasks, but you will mainly be responsible for implementing new features together with your team through working with a broad range of technologies. At a later stage, you will also take part in improving and maintaining the features which have been implemented.

Responsibilities and tasks
Your daily tasks will comprise:


  • Participating in the scoping, designing and architecture of features together with your senior colleagues
  • Implementing new features for the SitaWare product suite
  • Improving and maintaining implemented features
  • Working work with Java, Angular and/or TypeScript
  • Working with IP network configuration using TCP/IP, UDP, SSL/TLS


Preferred competencies
You have..


  • experience at working with Java and/or .NET
  • experience with troubleshooting in mixed software/hardware environments
  • a flair for handling computer hardware, peripherals, serial connections to sensors and radio communication equipment etc.
  • worked with Microsoft Windows client and server OS configuration and installation, incl. user administration in Active Directory etc.


Minimum qualifications


  • A theoretical background as a computer scientist, software developer, engineer or similar
  • 0-5 years of experience from a similar position
  • Fluent in Danish and English

Practical information


  • You can expect 5-10 days of travel a year
