Software Developer for a new project in Defence

 

Denmark, Aarhus.

 

About the position

 

For our rapidly growing Defence business unit, we are now looking for a dedicated and innovative Software Developer, who can accelerate the implementation of a completely new product for our customers – a new learning management system (LMS). You will become part of a brand-new team which together will ensure the smooth and successful implementation of the new system. Our new LMS will represent a major change for our customers and make a huge difference to the way in which they work. The aim is to develop a system that is modern and intuitive, and which makes it possible for our customers to self-educate themselves. This will enable them to save time and resources, as the previous manual training will be replaced by e-learning. We work with cutting-edge technologies that have a significant influence on our society, so we expect you to be prepared to take chances and challenge the way in which we work. Responsibility and tasks

 

Your everyday tasks will consist of:

  • Design and implement high quality integrations between existing Defence products and the Learning Management System.
  • Support overall design and architecture of the app and its integration.
  • Implement best practices and provide guidance for future team members.
  • Take the role as feature-lead in a cross-functional team, to lead and drive the implementation of new functionality and improvements.
  • Help grow the new team into a high-performance team and help ensure a high level of employee satisfaction.
  • Troubleshoot, optimize, and solve complex problems in an existing codebase.

 

Preferred competencies

 

  • You hold a MSc degree in Computer Science or equivalent and have 5+ years of experience in a similar position.
  • You have experience with E-learning Systems, training/education Technologies and tools.
  • You have experience with DevOps and Infrastructure and maybe you have tried to build environments, deployment pipelines etc.
  • As a person you work independently, take responsibility, and is dedicated in your work. You want to grow and learn and have ambitions for your career.

 

Minimum qualifications

 

  • As a minimum you hold a BSc decree in Computer Science or equivalent and have 3+ years of experience in a similar position.
  • You are fluent in Danish and English.
  • You have experience with Software Development and have worked with Angular, TypeScript, HTML, Java.

Practical information

 

  • Travel is very limited, but we expect you to be open for a few days of travel to our colleagues at our Rumanian office on a yearly basis.
