Student Worker for Football Business Intelligence solution

Be a key player in an exciting collaboration
At Systematic, you will be working together with AGF to gain insights into many facets of the football games, including scoring percentages, statistics, attack formations, technical errors, and much more.
While working on this project you’ll receive sparring from our Business Intelligence team. The team consists of 6 people who are responsible for a wide range of tasks – from engaging in customer dialogue and data modeling to building up data warehouses for analyses and reporting the adaptation of customer needs and requirements.
Strengthen your knowledge and professional capabilities
In this role, you will be responsible for, translating user and customer needs and wishes into concrete solutions, giving you an insight into different project phases. In addition to that, some of your key tasks will be to:
- extracting data via APIs from Impect and Skillcorner
- assisting in data integration, preparation and transformation processes to ensure data accuracy and quality
- analyzing trends and patterns
- develop dashboards for data analysis
- assisting in documenting solutions.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
We envisage that you are currently studying for a bachelor's or master’s in Business Intelligence, Data Science, Software Engineering or similar, with an interest in football and sports analytics. You are proactive and able to work independently, whilst having good communication skills. At the same time, we would like someone who:
- has an understanding of how to work consistently with data and data modelling
- has knowledge in extracting data using API calls
- has experience with programming in SQL
- has knowledge and/or experience with front-end development and data visualization concept
- it is an advantage to have knowledge in Tableau and its features and capabilities
- speak and write English fluently, as it is our corporate language
The position will involve around 10-15 hours of work a week with a flexible schedule to your studies.
