Student Assistant for Customer Operations

Do you have a passion for increasing the value of IT systems in, for example, the healthcare sector? Can you make technical messages easily understandable? Are you curious about how AI and automation can improve healthcare IT operations? If so, we have the perfect job for you!

The job
Columna Cura is one of Denmark's most advanced healthcare platforms, used daily by professionals in over 30 municipalities to coordinate care and support for citizens. As a Student Assistant in our Customer Operations team, you'll play a vital role in ensuring this system works seamlessly for the people who depend on it.

Some of your key tasks will include:

  • maintaining and synchronizing documentation across Jira and Cherwell
  • preparing monthly operational reports with accuracy and attention to detail
  • supporting incident and problem management workflows
  • identifying opportunities for process optimization and automation
  • translating technical information into user-friendly language (both Danish and English)
  • contributing to cross-functional projects and ad hoc tasks as needed

Beyond your core tasks, you’ll help improve how we work by spotting recurring issues, suggesting automation, and identifying process improvements. If you’re curious about AI in IT operations, you’ll have room to explore and experiment with new approaches.

The position will involve 10-15 hours of work a week, and we are, of course, flexible in relation to your studies.

Joining the team
You’ll become part of our Customer Operations team in Healthcare - a dynamic unit that collaborates across multiple departments. Our work sits at the crossroads of IT and communication, offering a variety of projects and tasks.

Our culture is informal, open, and relaxed, with plenty of room for creativity and new ideas. You’ll join a diverse mix of experienced professionals and younger colleagues, offering plenty of learning opportunities. You’ll also be part of a student team of 2–4 people, sharing common tasks, exchanging ideas and providing great sparring, while still having the opportunity to take on your own areas of responsibility.

Are you the person we are looking for:
We imagine that you are studying ITKO, Information Science, Digital Design, or similar, with at least one year left of your studies. Most importantly, you have a strong technical interest and are passionate about both IT and communication.

You'll thrive in this role if you:

  • have a natural flair for communication as you’ll interact frequently with external customers
  • enjoy taking responsibility - the role requires independence, including structuring your own time and deadlines
  • work structured, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering high-quality work
  • have a genuine interest in IT and AI
  • are fluent in Danish and confidently in English, both spoken and written

Please note that you must be able to present a clean criminal record and have lived in a NATO and/or an EU country for the past seven years as we work with security-classified projects. Read more here.
