Solution Engineer for Defence Services, Denmark

As a specialized unit within a market-leading organization, we work to implement Systematic’s Command and Control solutions in the Danish Army and the Nordics.


Tactical communications systems and great customer satisfaction


As a Systematic solution engineer, you will be a key player in delivering our SitaWare and Iris suite for Defence customers, mainly in Denmark but also in other of the Nordic European countries. Tactical decision-making is at the heart to execute upon strategy, this will be achieved through an integrated, ultra-modern command and control toolset. The solution is all-encompassing; radio, mobile, vehicle, web and application-based. All of this reports back to command HQ in real-time. You will be working closely with multiple customers - to roll out a mission-critical system that creates value by simplifying decision making -within areas such as solution design, configuration, installation, technical support, technical training, interoperability, development and testing.


Providing technical support and advisory with both on-site and back-office, your key tasks include:

  • Designing, implementing and supporting technical solutions
  • Ensuring that your projects are delivered within the agreed scope and time frame
  • Conducting technical training for our customers – both in classroom environments and in workshop-like set-ups
  • Supporting the training of administrators and end-users
  • Coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, including customers, sub-contractors, consultants and colleagues within Systematic
  • Keeping up to date with the status of Systematic products and support to ensure alignment of customer expectations and product roadmaps, maximizing value for both our customers and our products
  • 1st and 2nd Level customer support


You can expect some travel activity (typically 2-4 days at a time) as part of your close partnerships with customers across Denmark (and potentially the rest of Nordic countries).

In addition, you stand out because you:


  • Have a technical education at bachelor or master level
  • You have 3+ years of experience from a position as a software developer/service solution engineer
  • Speak and write English professionally
  • Want to work in an agile environment (Scrum experience is a plus)
  • Are eager to make a difference and step outside your comfort zone


Moreover, you have experience within some or all of the following: tactical communications systems, software development, IT infrastructure, software and system tests and/or test management (e.g. ISTQB), technical training, external customer-facing projects, delivering services and consultancy in the IT sector and/or successfully coaching peers.

It would be an advantage if you have a military background from an IT-related role in the Danish armed forces.
