Solution Architect for Training & Simulation

Are you ready to take on an impactful role as a Solution Architect and become a key player in building game-changing simulation software for training purposes? Are you looking for a role where you can apply your considerable drive, curiosity, and inventive mindset to shape and design the technical aspects of the training simulation product strategy and turn ideas into tangible products?

Join a new team and unlock the potential of our new product
Our vision is to enhance the training output through live, virtual & constructive training for SitaWare Products. You will be part of our Defence business unit, where you will join our newly established Defence Service Product Management team, so the timing is perfect if you are keen to make an impact and set your mark on tomorrow’s software solutions.

The aim of the Defence Service Product Management team is to develop new service offerings that support our customers and partners in exploiting all that our current and successful SitaWare products have to offer. We have already released the first versions of our training platform (Aspire), and we are keen to onboard a new colleague who can join us in enhancing the capability of self-paced training in a live, virtual and constructive environment. We believe that we are building a game-changer within the field of defence training. Wouldn’t it be a thrill to leave your mark on it?

How you will spend your time …
We have identified the simulated training domain as the next service offering, and one which holds massive business potential. Our new Solution Architect will be a key driver and will be involved in investigating, generating ideas, and building prototypes to find the right product fit.

Among other things, you will …

  • Be part of both our Product Management as well as our Development Team
  • You will set the technical direction for ‘how to develop simulated training’ by
    • Developing prototypes to validate concepts for simulation, and
    • Spend time understanding our SitaWare product suite and how simulated training can impact and increase better learning.
    • Support product strategy through the roadmap
  • You will take an active part in front-running features with the development team
  • You will design and support the implementation of new features together with our Product Manager and User Experience Engineer

Our new colleague…
You are an experienced Software Development Engineer. You might already have a couple of years of experience as an Architect, but the position would also be an excellent fit for an aspiring Architect who wants to make the leap from developing to designing the architecture.
If you have experience in developing or providing service offerings, or experience from making greenfield requirements based on your market understanding, you will be one step ahead.

To succeed in the role and in the team, our new colleague:

  • is an experienced developer with good knowledge of C#, Java or Angular
  • has worked in an agile environment with SCRUM and/or Kanban
  • Is keen to take on a technical leadership role, acquire even more technical knowledge and apply it through prototypes and features
  • Has a talent for facilitating complex technical solutions in a simple way, creating a vision and strategy for the different products
  • Has an organised and detail-oriented working style combined with a goal-oriented and flexible approach
  • Enjoys a highly agile working environment and building strong relationships with stakeholders and teams

We offer…

  • A team that strives to have fun while working hard. The latest achievement was to win the Systematic Dåck Race.
  • A team that is passionate about disruption
  • A team that works agile and is keen to create the best learning software for our Defence Customers
  • A team that is curious to learn more, and improve not only our Service offerings but also our way of working

The team consists of 10 ambitious & competent teammates in the roles of Software Architect, Instructional Designer, Product Manager etc.
We believe in a good work environment, where we respect a balanced work life. We also prioritize a fun-filled work atmosphere, and we believe that laughter and creativity can give us the best conditions to succeed in our entrepreneurial work environment.
