Lead the testing for our SitaWare Mobile programme

Our new Test Manager for Sitaware Mobile will join a high-tech programme comprising five development teams working across our locations in Aarhus and Bucharest and which form the basis for a strong international culture characterised by close cooperation. The SitaWare Mobile department is responsible for two products, Frontline and Edge. Working with testing and test management in Defence also involves joining a strong and unique network comprising 25 Testers and Test Managers, providing you with an outstanding opportunity to share knowledge and spar with colleagues across the business unit.

Quality-driven and keen to work across our entire Defence department

As Test Manager, you will be a key player in ensuring a high level of quality assurance for our products within the SitaWare Mobile programme. You will define, support and integrate with different project teams with regard to test-related activities, plans, reports and improvements across the entire Mobile programme. You will lead the way in ensuring that our test activities within SitaWare Mobile are aligned with our overall test strategy. In other words, you will assume responsibility for:

  • Supporting and developing the continuous improvement of the test framework and test strategies for SitaWare Mobile
  • Collaborating with Architects, Developers and Testers to build in quality and ensure a shift-left mindset
  • Coaching, training and supporting team members in all test-related topics and tools
  • Aligning with disciplines such as planning, change management, defect management, requirement management, release management and configuration management
  • Supporting system tests and acceptance tests for the SitaWare suite
  • Conducting and supporting risk sessions
  • Creating a clear roadmap for continuous test improvements.

Are you our new Test Manager? If so, you might:

  • Possess a couple of years of experience from a test management or test coordination role
  • Have experience at working in Scrum teams and collaborating closely with both Scrum and project managers
  • Have experience with continuous delivery and/or release management, and an ISTQB. However, this is not a requirement
  • Be a quality-conscious planner with the ability to foresee potential issues and risks.
