The job
As a Test Engineer you will be an integral part of a development team using Scrum for daily work. You will be working with early test during feature development and work in close collaboration with the team. As a tester in Cura you will have a close collaboration between all team members including other test engineers. There is a high focus on knowledge sharing and development between testers and developers, and as an organization, we generally have a very high focus on software quality and getting the right amount of test effort to achieve the quality goals.
In short, some of your key tasks will be:
- Feature Development and Early Test: You will be a crucial part of developing new features from requirements, through development and the final system test (FAT) before release of features to our customers.
- Planning the complete testing process: You will work with planning the complete testing process for the team's commitment and ensuring the understanding of process and plan for the entire team.
- Early test: Will be working with early test which implies tasks of early test design and strategy on how to test the features, risk assessments, test environment needs and understanding of the requirements.
- Conduct testing: You will be performing system test of both major releases with test runs, as well as system test for engineering drops. You will also be conducting test for new features and defect corrections according to the test strategy you have made for the features. We also execute automated testing as planned in the test strategy.
- Maintaining Testware and Processes: Build and maintain a regression test suite, testdata and test documentation management. Continuously improve the test process.
Joining the team
Joining as our new colleague, you will be part of our Columna Cura program. Columna Cura supports employees, patients, and relatives throughout a citizen's complete health journey. The product is operational and has already been purchased and implemented by more than 38 Danish municipalities.
As a Test Engineer, you will join one of our distributed teams with colleagues in Aarhus, Denmark, Warsaw, Poland, and Lviv, Ukraine. We are working as Scrum teams consisting of eight to ten colleagues, comprising Software, Software Tester(s), a Product Owner, and a Scrum Master.
We value each other highly and have a strong focus on collaboration, knowledge sharing, and building strong relationships in the team, including social sync meetings with fun online games.
Your qualifications
We are looking for a new colleague who brings a Bachelor's or Master’s degree preferably within Software or from a technical university. Additionally, we look for someone with 3-5 years of test experience, preferably in a similar role.
You must bring an ISTQB or TMAP certification, or something similar, and bring experience with defect identification and correction. You must be fluent in English to engage with colleagues across locations.
Furthermore, it is not a requirement but an advantage if you have knowledge of or experience with the following :
- Automated testing tools
- Technical test
- PostMan, SQL, XML & JSON
- The theoretical understanding of T-map/test design
- The Scrum methodology
- AI tools such as Claude and Github Copilot.
