Software Test Engineer – Ensure the high quality of our products for the renewable energy industry

With SITE, our clients can support offshore wind operation management in driving down the energy cost produced by applying a data-driven approach to improve process efficiency. And you can now become a significant part of it!

A high-demand product

As our new Software Test Engineer, you will join a team of 15 highly skilled colleagues in mixed roles, such as Software Developers and Architects and a Project Manager. Our Test Engineers are a crucial part of the product quality we deliver to the customers. You will become a part of a team where all members seek early engagement and impact on the solution.

SITE is a coherent and easy-to-use 'software as a service' that ensures process efficiency and delivers the data needed to optimize offshore wind operations - in the construction, operations, and maintenance phase. You can read more about the product here.

Be a vital part of the test process

As our new Test Engineer colleague, you will create test designs and test cases and focus on risk assessment. You will evaluate how features must be tested and advise your colleagues on creating automated tests where needed. You are part of developing our next generation of products.

Working in an agile scrum-team, you will make a difference by:

  • Ensuring an early test involvement in development, asking all the crucial questions, and collaborating closely with all stakeholders.
  • Participating in all test activities such as integration tests, system tests, field tests, bug hunts, etc.
  • Creating and maintaining test documentation like test considerations, test cases, risk analysis and defect reporting.
  • Taking part in developing and maintaining test environments.

A self-driven Software Test Engineer

We are looking for a colleague who brings a technical degree in computer science, software engineering, computer technology, or something similar—someone who has worked as a Test Engineer or in a similar role for some years. Furthermore, we are looking for a colleague who can take responsibility for their work and is proactive and self-driven in their approach. It will benefit you if you have worked with tools like JIRA, Xray for JIRA or R4J, and technologies like Java, Wildfly, Keycloak, Angular, SQL Server, MySQL and Azure.

It is essential that you speak English fluently and will thrive in an international working environment.
