A coherent and easy-to-use offshore management system

As our new Senior Systems Engineer, you will join a fantastic scale-up with a team of approx. 17 highly skilled colleagues. You will work with our new and innovative product called SITE. SITE is a coherent and easy-to-use 'software as a service' that ensures process efficiency and delivers the data needed to optimize offshore wind operations - in the construction, operations, and maintenance phase. We are, therefore, looking for a new colleague who is prepared to take chances, try new things, innovate, disrupt and challenge how we work. You will, namely, be essential for the team's success and goal of making a difference for renewable energy.


Responsibilities and tasks

As our Senior Systems Engineer, you will lead complex development tasks and act as a sparring partner for our less experienced developers in the team. You can, therefore, expect to have a great amount of responsibility and to work on daily tasks that involve:


  • Development and innovations in the product
  • Contribute to the team to achieve continuous stability and high quality on the solution
  • Be active in the discussion of new innovations and technical solutions with our architect and your fellow software developers
  • Be able to break down the features into smaller tasks and ensure valid estimates on all tasks


How can you succeed in this role?

  • You are curious and create constructive solutions to challenges
  • You have experience in Java, Wildfly, Keycloak, Angular, SQL Server, MySQL and Azure (or are willing to learn)
  • You have experience with profiling and optimizing java applications, Relational databases, and maybe optimization in cloud solutions
  • You have good people skills, work in a structured way, and like to share your knowledge and experience.
  • You are interested in expanding your skills and learning new things.
  • You are proactive and solution-focused and work well in teams.
  • It is an advantage but not a prerequisite if you have knowledge from working with SITAWARE.

  • We will be assessing applications on an ongoing basis as we wish to fill the position as soon as possible.
  • We work with security classified projects, therefore, as a Systematic employee, you must have a clean criminal record and have lived in a NATO/EU country for the past seven years.
