Senior Systems Engineer for mission-critical battle management software

The role


You will be part of our Defence business unit, which is based on the top floor of our Aarhus offers with spectacular views of the city. You will be joining a well-established full-stack team comprising a Scrum Master, Developers and Testers. The team is part of a programme of five scrum teams with about seven colleagues in each team. They are involved with developing new features for our Android product, SitaWare Frontline. As a Senior Systems Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring deliveries of new product functionality to customers worldwide. Your daily tasks will include …



  • Feature development in TypeScript, Angular and Java
  • Ensuring high quality (unit testing, robot testing, reviewing code)
  • Designing and implementing new features together with our Domain Experts, Architects and User Experience Engineers
  • Maintaining the team’s components of the product’s codebase
  • Participating in Scrum ceremonies
  • Collaborating with the team to deliver the monthly increment and half-yearly release


Our new candidate


… holds a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or similar combined with at least two years of experience from a similar role. To succeed in the role and in the team, our new colleague …


  • Has experience with parts of the tech stack such as Java, Angular and TypeScript.
  • Knowledge of DevOps would also be an advantage
  • Is used to working in Scrum teams based on agile methodologies and is comfortable communicating in English
  • Is motivated and possibly has ambitions to become a feature lead developing new and innovative features in close cooperation with the team
  • Would enjoy being part of a young team who are passionate about their job and who always have time for fun and jokes with each other
