Experienced frontend developer – next generation mobile


Aarhus, Denmark.


About the position


Do you want to develop high-quality frontend solutions for our global customers with the best view in Aarhus? You will be placed at the top of our tower and you will be joining a growing, international team of approximately 40 skilled developers, architects and UX’ers all working to deliver world-class solutions. As a frontend developer with us, you will become a vital player in assuring deliveries of new product functionality to customers around the world. You will be joining our strategically important program, which delivers the next generation of SitaWare Mobile Products to customers within Defence around the globe. You will take part in designing and developing the next generation using the latest technologies such as Angular, Angular Material, Java and TypeScript running on multiple platforms (Windows, Linux and Android). Responsibilities and tasks


Your daily tasks will involve:

  • Develop best in class frontend in TypeScript and Angular
  • Design solutions and implement best practices in close collaboration with the teams in Frontend development
  • Potentially support full-stack software applications, backend development in Java
  • Being ambitious and participating in leading and driving the implementation of new functionality and improvements
  • Design and implement new features together with our Domain Experts and User Experience engineers
  • Troubleshoot, optimize and solve complex problems in an existing codebase


Our ideal candidate


  • Bring experience with – or are interested in learning about – GIT, Gradle, TeamCity and Jira SonarQube but also Robot Framework, Bazel, Closure or something similar.
  • Have an interest in modern processes/technologies like scrum, unit testing, automation, DevOps
  • Is known for showing initiative – not waiting for others to come to you but proactively making things happen on your own. Likewise, you are not afraid to speak your mind.
  • While you can work independently, you collaborate well and listen to and evaluate technical improvement input from your colleagues; they know they can come to you to raise their questions and concerns.


Required expertise


  • Hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, computer engineering or similar
  • Bring 3+ years of experience as a developer
  • Have solid experience with frontend development – we work primarily with Angular and Typescript, but we are open to your tech stack experience
  • Have experience in developing high-quality software
  • You are fluent in English and thrive in an international working environment.

  • Place of work is in Aarhus, travel days are very limited
