Battlefield Health – Systematic’s new product 
Our new product Battlefield Health, part of our Healthcare business unit, combines proven healthcare and C4ISR solutions into a unified defence medical information system. Drawing on over 30 years of defence and healthcare expertise, Battlefield Health provides critical decision support for healthcare professionals, enhancing continuum of care, patient tracking and flow management. The SitaWare Battlefield Health platform offers a comprehensive multinational set-up to manage patient tracking and flow from incident to repatriation, delivering a common operational picture and meeting defence healthcare requirements.

 

Over the past year, we have developed a prototype to showcase the core functionalities and value of the product. Now we are ready to enter the next phase!

 

Take the lead on technical decisions 
As our Senior Systems Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in our team, designing and implementing impactful software as part of an international expansion programme. You will work on both project-specific developments and core product enhancements, with opportunities for professional and personal growth. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • leading technical decisions and guiding software architecture
  • managing complex development tasks related to integration and core product development
  • collaborating within a Scrum-based development team   
  • working with solution architects  and cross-functional teams to ensure a cohesive development process
  • leveraging knowledge of NATO standards
  • co-creating solutions with domain advisors and users.

 

You will work in a distributed set-up between Aarhus and Bucharest as part of a Scrum team consisting of 5–10 Developers, Tester(s), an Architect, a Domain Advisor and a Project Manager.

 

Experienced developer who wants to make a difference
We hope to welcome new colleagues with 5+ years of experience in a similar role and a relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree in software. We envisage that your technology toolbox includes experience with Java, Angular 10+, TypeScript, J2EE, IntelliJ IDEA and Gradle. Ideally, you: 

  • are result-oriented and proactive
  • enjoy collaborating across teams
  • have software architecture experience
  • possess knowledge of security aspects and secure communication
  • have experience in integration development
  • possess software development experience within the military domain (a key plus) 
  • are fluent in Danish and English.
