Senior Software Developer for new digital training platform

You will be part of our rapidly growing Defence business unit and join a recently established Defence Service Product Management team. In cooperation with this committed and highly skilled engineering and developer group, you will accelerate the development and implementation of our new and innovative training solution SitaWare Aspire.
SitaWare Aspire is a high-quality digital training platform for the Defence domain. It enables users to ‘train as you fight’, and is a cost-efficient product for our customers. The solution is modern and intuitive, and is based on the latest cutting-edge technologies.

How will you make a difference?
Working closely together with an engaged team, you will create and design new, high-quality product features that enhances the learning outcome for our users. You will assume the role of feature lead, and have a unique opportunity to make your mark on the product, contribute to growing the team and influence the way in which the team operates. 


Your tasks will include:   

  • Designing and implementing high-quality integrations between existing Defence products and the Learning Management System
  • Implement new custom-requested functionalities or features which make a real difference
  • Implementing best practices and finding optimum solutions together with the other team members
  • Taking an active role in the decision-making for the new product features and architecture
  • Write and implement code for the new features
  • Troubleshooting, optimising and solving complex problems in an existing codebase


Experienced, ambitious and team-driven developer
Our new colleague has min. 2-3 years of experience with software development and a technology toolbox that includes Java, Angular, HTML and TypeScript. A BSc degree or MSc degree in Computer Science, Engineering or similar is expected, as is experience with front-end web development.

We work with security-classified projects, and therefore, as a Systematic employee, you must have a clean criminal record and have lived in a NATO/EU country for the past seven years.
