You will be part of our rapidly growing Defence business unit and join our Defence Service Product Management team. In cooperation with this committed and highly skilled group of engineers and developers, you will accelerate the development and implementation of our new and innovative training solution SitaWare Aspire.


SitaWare Aspire is a digital training platform for our Defence customers. The solution is modern and intuitive, although we are continuously refining it to provide our customers with the best offering. The product is the newest in our product portfolio, with more in the pipeline. One of our current priorities is the scalability of the Aspire platform to ensure as many concurrent users as possible. It enables users to ‘train as you fight’, and is a cost-efficient solution for customers.

How will you make a difference?
Working closely together with a committed team, you will create and design new, high-quality product features that enhance the learning outcome for users. You will take on the role of feature lead, and have a unique opportunity to make your mark on the product, help grow the team and influence the way in which the team operates. 

 

Your tasks will include the following:

  • Designing and implementing high-quality integrations between existing Defence products and the Learning Management System
  • Implementing new custom-requested functionalities or features that make a real difference
  • Implementing best practices and finding optimum solutions together with the rest of the team
  • Taking an active role in the decision-making for new product features and architecture
  • Writing and implementing code for the new features
  • Troubleshooting, optimising, and solving complex problems in an existing codebase.

 

Experienced software developer with an ambitious and dynamic mindset 
Our new colleague has min. 2-3 years of experience with software development and a technology toolbox that probably includes Java and/or Angular, HTML, and TypeScript. A bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or similar is expected, as is experienced with front-end web development. You have experience working in Scrum teams, and you are comfortable communicating in English.

 

It would be a plus if you have:

  • Experience with building and deploying microservices
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies
  • Experience with Relational Databases
  • Experience with Keycloak and Kubernetes

 

Technologies used in the Service Product Management team:

  • Programming languages: Typescript, JavaScript, Java, Kotlin
  • Frameworks and libraries: Angular, Spring
  • Databases: Relational Database
  • Tools and platforms: TeamCity, Bitbucket, Jira, Keycloak, Docker
