Join the Infrastructure & Operations department, and lead and drive global operations
You will be part of our Infrastructure & Operations department and head the Operations team. The team is responsible for all second-level core infrastructure IT operations towards internal customers, engaging in both large and small projects across our organisation, and aiming to improve the area with regard to new technologies, stability, security, global performance and internal improvement.
The Operations team consists of six highly technically skilled colleagues based in Bucharest, Romania, and Aarhus, Denmark, where they work together to ensure stable operations across all our locations.
People management and daily IT operations
As our new Senior Manager, it will be your overall responsibility to establish stable operations by continuously developing and improving operation models as well as streamlining and choosing tools for daily operations. You will also act as people manager for the team members, ensuring their personal and professional development according to the needs of the team and the business.
Your primary tasks:
- People management of the team
- Ensuring standard compliances
- The road-mapping, development and implementation of operational initiatives
- Vendor management
- Security patch management compliance
Experienced people manager with strong technical background
Our new colleague has a strong technical background and at least five years of experience from a similar role within the IT area. You have a track record of successfully transforming and reshaping operational departments, demonstrating your ability to drive meaningful change and deliver solid results. We expect you to have people management experience or to have received management training. You bring knowledge within tooling monitoring, patch management and hybrid cloud solutions, and have experience with processes such as ITIL.
Furthermore, we envisage that you have an engaging personality and an entrepreneurial mindset, take a structured approach to your work and are fluent in English.
