Systematic - IT Solutions for critical decision making in demanding situationsSystematic - IT Solutions for critical decision making in demanding situations

Senior Manager, Office Operations Denmark

Do you thrive on turning complex office operations into seamless, everyday experiences for our colleagues and guests? As our new Senior Manager for Office Operations in Denmark, you will take end-to-end ownership of four teams, two offices and the workplace experience of more than 1,000 employees.

The job
As Senior Manager for our Office Operations in Denmark, you will shape the everyday experience of colleagues across our Aarhus and Copenhagen offices. You will bring Front Desk, Canteen, House Service and Facility Management together as one strong, coherent organisation. With full ownership of the budget, the supplier relationships and the long-term facility strategy, you will have real influence over how our workplaces look, feel and function for years to come.

In short, you can look forward to:
●    Leading and developing four people managers and their teams, around 25 employees in total, across Copenhagen and Aarhus
●    Owning the Danish Office Operations budget – forecasting, cost control and prioritisation of spend
●    Driving facility planning end-to-end, from preventive maintenance to long-term lifecycle and capacity planning
●    Leading supplier and contract governance, including SLAs, performance reviews and escalation
●    Translating business needs into practical, scalable operating plans across both locations

Joining the team
You will join our Global Office Operations, reporting to Anders Højte, Director, who is based in our Copenhagen office. You and your four people managers will be based in Aarhus.
Stepping into this role, you can expect close, ongoing collaboration with your people managers – setting direction together, solving challenges as they come up, and making sure Front Desk, Canteen, House Service and Facility Management work towards the same goals. You will also work closely with Anders on strategic priorities and budget decisions, and build relationships with landlords, suppliers and colleagues across both offices.

Your qualifications
We are looking for the right mindset above all – a mature, visible leader who balances empathy with accountability. Most importantly, you have experience from a similar role in a comparable environment, including building maintenance and operations, and you have strong people management skills, with proven experience building engaged, high-performing teams. Beyond that, we imagine you recognise yourself in the following:
●    Strong stakeholder management skills, able to align management, landlords, suppliers and employees
●    Experience with long-term planning, including facility lifecycle planning and capacity/space planning
●    Strong financial management skills, including budgeting, forecasting and cost control
●    Higher education in a relevant field

From time to time, the role may require travel to Copenhagen.

Please note that you must be able to present a clean criminal record and have lived in a NATO and/or an EU country for the past seven years as we work with security-classified projects. Read more here.
Welcome to Systematic Aarhus

At our Aarhus office, you can look forward to joining our Employees Club, which offers nearly 100 events a year of both social and professional character. Here, you can take advantage of a range of on-site perks from physiotherapist-led massages and an in-house hairdresser to sports clubs, game tables and even our own padel court. Our canteen is a standout feature, serving a daily selection of delicious and healthy dishes. Beyond the office, you will also enjoy benefits like free ARoS +1 access and various shopping discounts.
