

Senior Full-stack Developer

As part of our Mobile program and the Phoenix team, you’ll be developing software used by commanders in the field – both in vehicles and for use on foot. What you will be doing
In this role, you will be part of Systematic’s Defence organisation delivering high-quality software for our SitaWare product. You will be part of the Mobile program, which delivers software to vehicles and dismounted Defence commanders. The program is divided into Scrum teams, and this role is part of the Phoenix team. The Phoenix team is looking for a Senior Full-stack Developer who will play a key role in delivering new features, and in maintaining or repairing existing software in the product. You will take ownership of the deliveries from initial concept through to final release.
In your daily work, you will:
- write and implement high-quality software that makes a real difference for our customers
- identify and solve complex problems that impact the performance of the team and the product
- contribute to the team’s success by being a strong role model and ensuring the development of less experienced team members
What we are looking for
We are looking for an experienced Full-stack Developer who motives by delivering high-quality software for our Defence customers. A person who is a strong team player and who values going to work and making a difference.
To succeed in this role, you should bring:
- a degree in computer science, software engineering or another relevant technical field and 5+ years of experience
- strong competencies in Java, Angular and TypeScript combined with a willingness to work across both frontend and backend
- the ability to contribute to technical improvements, strong problem-solving skills and an analytical mindset combined with troubleshooting skills
- the ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- fluency in English, both written and spoken
